Over the past few months we have been assembling and analyzing background information, conducting interviews, holding meetings and analyzing public feedback from the online survey and project launch event. This information has been brought together in the Humber Valley Regional Land Use Plan Issues and Analysis Report, which is now available from our website.

The Report provides an overview of environment, development, and demographic issues as well as describes the current status, future outlook, and land use implications of sectors in the regional
economy.

The Corner Brook-Humber Valley Regional Planning Advisory Authority and CBCL Limited are inviting the public to the launch of the Corner Brook-Humber Valley Regional Planning Project. The event will be held at the Marble Mountain Ski Lodge in Steady Brook on December 2, 2009 at 7:00pm.

Join the consultant team in a relaxed atmosphere to find out more about this new large-scale regional planning study by attending short presentations, viewing visual display boards and sharing your ideas on “The Wall”, a large mural posted at the event. Learn how you can make your voice heard through a project website, online survey and online video contest.
