On June 10, 2010, 7:00pm at the Pepsi Centre in Corner Brook, the Humber Valley Regional Planning Advisory Authority in conjunction with the planning consultants, CBCL Limited, will conduct a regional planning workshop. Over the past few months research and consultation have taken place on planning issues in the Humber Valley allowing a draft vision and guiding principles for future land use to emerge. The June 10, 2010, workshop will be an opportunity for all residents to provide input into approaches for managing development in the region. Participants will engage in dialogue about the vision for the future and the possible policies, regulations, and investments that will be necessary to achieve this vision. Stakeholder groups and members of the general public are encouraged to participate in this workshop and help shape the Humber Valley Regional Land Use Plan.
